Tokyo! Day 1

Tokyo has been amazing. Our hostel is located in Asakusa, not too far from the Skytree Tower. We packed a lot of things in two days, and you can read all about them below!

We began the first day with a visit to Skytree, the world tallest broadcasting tower.

The first Observational deck is 350m high (1150ft) from the ground, and is accessed through a very efficient elevator system. The whole interior is beautiful.

The highest observatory is at 450m (1477ft).

After Skytree we followed our videogamer passions to Square Enix. The old showcase has actually been closed since last November, but Square Enix has since opened a new shop called Artnia right outside it's headquarters in Shunjuku, which has a cafe inside.

 At the cafe you could get drinks and food themed after popular items in the games that Square Enix creates, like High Potions, or an alcoholic drink named after an aeon, like Shiva.

After our trip to Square Enix, we ended the day with a trip to Shibuya, a populated shopping area kinda like the Times Square of Tokyo.
