Tokyo Day 2!

Day 2 in Tokyo was a little less busy than the first, and good thing too as we had more time to relax and move at a steady pace. This day began with our trip to Studio Ghibli in Mitaka! Excitement galore! Ghibli is really careful about keeping their things in the museum exclusive, so we were only allowed to take photos outside, but it was still an amazing experience.

After the Ghibli museum, we met up with my friend Misato! Misato studied abroad at CSU for a year and lived in Newsom Hall while I was an RA there! It was great to see her again and meet her high school friend, Mizuki later that evening!

We went to see 桜 (cherry blossoms) in Ueno! Even though it was the evening, the lanterns provided a nice glow to the blossoms for the 花見 (cherry blossom viewing) festival!

Today we traveled to Kyoto, where we hope to see many more amazing things and I'll be sure to tell you all about them!
